This is some really cool stuff. Sometimes the inadvertent effects are almost as fun as the intended ones.
Oh yeah. It was actually far more fun than translating and moving officers around!
In fact, it was the most interesting part (aside from actually playing).

Oh yeah. I crashed the game all the time. I don’t think it crashed in that case. I actually took ol’ 00000 into battle and something or another happened. Usually some strange nothing showed up with 0 soldiers, alive and able to attack, but they could not be healed (obviously) and any blow killed them.
Some other really cool stuff happened too. When working on the L

ParticipantYou’re really good at coming up with surprises. Any Sun Quan Ghost as well?
The generals in Wei are really tough. I think alot of luck is needed to win, especially for ce main to last several rounds.

KeymasterZuo Ci is never worth the hell you have you go through to beat him. Although is he at a gate / castle somewhere? Then you’d be forced to have to go through it or hope An Sha works.

ParticipantI think he appears in random battles. His AC of 255 is amazing. I’m now having problems with the Sima brothers though I’m already at level 51. Any suggestions who I should bring for the battle?
I currently have Pang De, Zhang Liao, Zhao Yun, Jiang Wei and Guan Xing. Guan Xing is by default, given a choice I would have loved to include Deng Ai. Is Lu Meng recruitable??

ParticipantJames, you sure a a sick one. First off, as with the original DOAE I am forced to keep Liu Bei and level up in the first area until I hit 12. After all, there is no way I can refuse doing something OCD like that to ensure my characters have the max tp the game allows (160 mtp, sluts). At least in the Cao Cao mod, thats no longer an issue with plenty of 220+ tacticians to start with so I can max out the game with ease. Also, that really was twisted giving enemies 70 a.p. in the beginning of the game, not to mention you raised the price of leather armor. Hehe, it’s an awesome time though, just know that you sir, make me tremble at the might of your hack. P.S. any new weapons or secrets?
What!? Zhuge Liang controls even the heavens?

Haha… no new weapons or… well… I guess there are new secrets, some of which haven’t been discovered yet. Most of them relate to officers. As you progress in the game you’re going to start seeing some really new and interesting stuff. You’ll also have access to a lot of officers you never would have been able to recruit otherwise, including Pang De and Jia Xu.
Did you check out Huo Hu? I think he’s got 220 intelligence.
He’s the hero of the game!
(He’s actually a party-worthy officer, too).

ParticipantAll the mods have pretty much made Huo Hu god. He’s 185/220 in this one, and 200/230 in any mod I release :P
Basically, he’s a finger of god no matter how you rate him.
