ParticipantYeah, sometimes the bars go down or you lose 50% of your troops for the bad tune. Damned annoying it is.
You have to remember, though; the very thing that makes you a nerd is that your enthusiasms are totally unrelatable and non-marketable to most of the world. For example, anime and celibacy. - Seanbaby

ParticipantCao Cao is oh so close to being the Emperor (Actually, I already gave him the rank of emperor but, he’s got about four cities to go). The AI is god awful, one of them south-central cities has the city wall bordering water and they sail right up to the wall and just mill around until they get a time-out. When you’re walled up in a city, the enemy will break one wall and get right by the ruler then start breaking the other walls down. Also, the computer likes to put their commander as a vanguard or at least in a second wave, Cao Cao never had it so easy.

ParticipantI’ve played a little recently with Cao Cao on the last scenario, is it normal that after some times, one of your cities will become masterless, and that when you attack them, they are 7 officers blocking the way? (I think that it was Luo Yang or something like that).
Here’s what happened:
-I asked "Sima Yi" what should we do.
-He answers: Let’s move to "An Ding".
-After I moved, the other city I was in… became out of my control! Masterless!
It’s really weird, because it isn’t an independance, it isn’t a betrayal, simply becoming masterless…

KeymasterDid you leave anyone to garrison the city? I don’t know how that works either. Sometimes I leave officers there and they’ll disband or disappear. Weird game when you don’t know the language. :retard:

ParticipantAh, it’s like they’re a hostile force, but the game only supports a few colors. If you left them there for awhile, eventually they’ll gain a color and start attacking you. That is, unless they all magically left the city.

ParticipantOne other time, I had nobody to protect 4 of my towns, but they never disband… If only I understood what the characters were saying in the meantime…

ParticipantRight, this is funny!
I just killed Cao Cao with the Xi Liang Cavalry!
Instead of ending the game, it made Xiahou Dun the succesor!
EDIT:

I always see that face at green’s turn, so I really think it’s real!

ParticipantWhat scenario are you playing in?
I recently started a a new one of the first scenario as Liu Bei. I got pretty lucky, Cao Cao attacked me fairly early, but I had Zhang Fei swoop in behind him and take him out in a duel. Afterwords, Sima Yi joined me, his action point bonus as a commander is the same as Zhuge Liang.

ParticipantCommie, where’s the walkthrough for this game?
You could at least give some basic strategies or something.

ParticipantAh, I could probably make a few changes to it. Like how the bar I labeled as "NULL" has something to do with the cities Naval power.

Participant
It recently gave me victory for Liu Bei on the first scenario after killing Liu Biao and taking this city, I’m so confused. Cao Cao had about triple the amount of territory that I did. I think the difficulty setting might has something to do with it, I played on easy.

ParticipantIt might be that the game is goal-oriented rather than simple domination. Have you won any games with Cao Cao or others where you won right after killing off a specific force?

ParticipantFor that Xiahou Dun thing, I got in the 2nd scenario, played as Ma Teng at easy.

ParticipantNifty. On hard difficulty, all battles that don’t involve your ruler are done automatically (So far). Also, in the first scenario, Liu Bei starts out being pretty aggressive taking two cities in one turn.
