ParticipantDelegation? Are you sure? I might play at hard instead of easy… I just thought of something though. As in japanese things are read from right to left, don’t you think at the right is easy and at left is hard? (Although it would be pretty useless, making your cursor on hard at start…)

ParticipantNiahak from the-scholars.com already pointed out what the settings were, and they’re easy to hard from left to right.

ParticipantYeah, there are also a few more things I’d like to list
For domestics and what-not
3 Cities = 3 action points
6 Cities = 4 action points
9 Cities = 5 action points
10 Cities = Music Change
12 Cities = 6 action points
If a city’s food or trade (I think I listed it as Money earlier) go to zero, a negative tune plays and all officers in that city lose some troops. Also, unattended cities with no food or trade will fall out of your control, I think.
You have to remember, though; the very thing that makes you a nerd is that your enthusiasms are totally unrelatable and non-marketable to most of the world. For example, anime and celibacy. - Seanbaby

ParticipantThe music changes, eh? I’m guessing it becomes more upbeat or something?
Also, have you managed to capture the whole map?

KeymasterYeah duel ability (war/strength) is the most vital part of the game, my opinion.

ParticipantYeah, but Zhuge Liang’s duel attack is an arrow barrage that takes 2-3 enemy troops out. If you have him as a commander, his action point bonus will allow him to take out any generals with less then 10 troops in one turn or you can have him barrage until he is out of points and do a follow-up attack with a strong general (The tiger generals usually kill two enemy troops with their regular attacks).

ParticipantToo bad I can’t be bothered to figure out all the stuff you guys have.
Hey Lord, who was it that sent you the DOAE3 ROMs?

KeymasterI received the Genesis one from Slickslicer I think. As for the SNES one, it was some random guy who wanted to exchange since he saw I had the Genesis one. I really couldn’t find the SNES one until then…

ParticipantDid Slickslicer send you any info along with it? The only major stuff I know about the game, other than what I gleaned from playing it, is from D’s posts on the-scholars.com.

I think what I just circled there is the age of your officers! If Cao Cao is at 68, and if the game follows the ROTK story, that means I’ll lose Cao Cao soon!

Sorry for the double post, but I’ve almost got the whole "continent"! I’m in 232, and Cao Cao is still alive and standing! I’ve just killed Ma Teng. I wonder if each ruler has it’s mission. It seems Cao Cao it’s either kill Sun Quan, or get the whole continent! Rulers left: Sun Quan, 1 city. Zhang Fei, 1 city. The person who succeded Liu Zhang, 2 cities.

ParticipantTriple post, sorry, but I think it’s important.

After that, it got me back on the title screen. To resume… Cao Cao died…

ParticipantI might try to do it with Lu Bu, and try not to get pwned again. I want to finish that game at least once!

ParticipantDouble post again.
I found two interesting things!
The first one is about leaders that pops out from nowhere. In the firest scenario, there are seven leaders, right? That is seven colors. As long as there are seven colors on the map, new leaders can’t show up! In the game I just started with Lu Bu, I just defeated Yuan Shu (sorry, my lord) and just after that, Ma Teng showed up with the same sky blue color from Yuan Shu. Interesting, isn’t it?
Secondly, I found a way to make sure your cities stay in your control, you MUST make sure there is at least one unit in each one of your cities. When it plays the negative tune, instead of falling out of your control, it should just remove some soldiers. Be careful with your frontline cities. Also, it might be hard if you start out with a ruler who controls only one city, but I know everyone can do it here!
I’ll keep posting.
EDIT: I just found out that the music changes once again when you get to 20 cities. Is it 30 after that?
