yeah, the steeds do allow you a double attack, I believe this is alluded to in one of the first towns. FYI level 52 is possible if certain conditions are met…
Xiahou Dun eh? Well I don't think that was intentional but not like its a huge deal breaker. Maybe I changed his hex ID and didn't realize it, granted, this was my first mod and some adjustments may have been made accidentally that I wouldn't do now.
Hmm, I don't think this one is exceptionally LONGER than the original, just different, but the Rise of Ieyasu mod has an entire extra, super-hard chapter to try out in addition to the entirely new game.
Looking forward to it, I just beat what would have been the original final battle and I'm moving onto the post-game.
I've also been live-streaming all of this epicness!
P.S. Another weird bug involving Xiahou Dun, on the cave leading up to Jin castle I was actually running into him in battle while he was on my team! lol, granted its not worth making a big deal out of, just thought I'd throw that out there, I had a good laugh when he appeared!

Interesting that you bring that up. I had a similiar issue in the Rise of Ieyasu mod where a specific general was appearing even once recruited. I'll have to check the hex id's to see if thats the same one.

FYI if you go to the video option and turn on HQ2x on the bottom left hand side, you get more smoothed out portraits and sprites.

As for the live streaming yeah, I stream mostly retro games that I enjoyed in my childhood and still play when I get bored with all the modern stuff, this happily fit into that catagory :D
