ModeratorYour save states aren't working at all for me. What version of FCEUX are you using? Also try zipping them before sending.
I looked at the ROM and I don't see those officers on the mismatch list. For it to work you'd need something like:
0x4450: AA AA
0x4470: 16 18

ModeratorYeah, I didn't put them on. @ 4450 there are only 3 slots?
I'm using FCE 2.2

ModeratorQuote:Yeah, I didn't put them on. @ 4450 there are only 3 slots? There are 32 mismatches possible. But the loser must be exactly 2 rows under the winner. Example:
Winner: 0x4450
Loser: 0x4470
Winner: 0x4451
Loser: 0x4471
Winner: 0x4452
Loser: 0x4472
etc… up until the last winner which is at 0x446F and the last loser which is at 0x448F.

ModeratorIn ROLB, I only see 3 slots with 00 starting at 4450

ModeratorThat must be leftovers from the original ROM. You can zero out 0x4450-0x450F.

ModeratorSo I was having issues w/ freezing so I applied 1.2 patch 2 again and the issues are cleared up for the moment. I'm starting to wonder if DOAEditor is writing over something…

ModeratorI have guys with 50 INT and 235 STR not accepting duels on a regular basis… Are you sure they ALWAYS accept duels when under 180 int? Maybe by increasing the STR comparison to more than 15ish??
Also gonna have to find the stat protection to killing in duels…
June 14, 2013 at 3:03 pm #39319MiDKnighT
ModeratorThe only general that ALWAYS accepts duels is Lu Bu. If they have 235 STR and low INT they have a 235/255 chance of accepting a duel which is 92%. If you are having a problem with one particular battle try changing the battle lineup a little. General IDs are used as part of the secret sauce formula.

ModeratorOkay, I just upped STR by a few points to make it more guaranteed.
Also, do you have the address on hand to make people in the mismatch list die 100%?

ModeratorQuote:Also, do you have the address on hand to make people in the mismatch list die 100%?Hmm, they should die if there is a duel between 2 mismatched participants.

ModeratorI'm talking perma-death 100%
Quote:– One person is An Sha'd (1/3rd chance)– Loser flees and is his own men are disgusted (1/3rd chance). The fleeing general will lose Qi Shou and Bei Ji status and get Yi Xin status.
– Loser gets KILLED (An Sha'd and removed from the game) (1/3rd chance but this will also have stat protections (nobody over 220 STR, AGI, or INT will be killed unless on the mismatch list) and a no kill list. If the officer is protected it will just be An Sha).
June 14, 2013 at 4:16 pm #39323MiDKnighT
ModeratorIt should be doing that for the mismatch list. I'll have to check.

ModeratorNew updated 3.0 version coming soon with fully playable Lu Bu throughout!
Zhang Liao stands alone…

ModeratorAre you still having the mismatch list issues or did you fix that? You wouldn't happen to have a save state handy for that would you?

That pic looks amazing! What settings do you use to get your sprites that smooth?
