Yes you might want some more conservative adjustments. The highest one on my list was actually 30, not 1F. The goal of this I think should be to have Lu Bu and the other hulks critical hit kill you sometimes with an instant KO but not all the time (ie…like An Sha).

On a side note, you could use that to smooth noncritical damage out a bit. Just change this:

into this:

Or, if you don't like increased maximum damage, change it into this:

Don't forget there's a big jump from 19 to 20. You're skipping 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 1E, and 1F.

I should update the ranks with some cooler options. It should really all be DoaE based. Some of them are cheesy (okay, most of them) but I gotta pat myself on the back for that Liao Hua one with the girls locked up in a horse pen. And the Jiu Swilling Souse.
Man, I'm playing this mod and I don't believe my eyes. Lu Bu has 15,000 soldiers at Gui Yang lol. So I put Xu You as my tactician since he is 179 so that's the best INT I have for a tactician that also has Mislead (Li Jian). So I get Li Jian on Lu Bu…he takes off 3400 with a regular attack on his allies! He even had a crit on himself for 7200 or so. It was pretty amazing. But anyway yea, that battle was a joke because of Mislead.
Pang Tong was pretty tough at LingLing. Using Mislead was harder but eventually got it with Xu Shu since he is 242 INT.
Then I go and talk to the red + white guard-guy at LingLing and he triggers Zhuge Liang into the field. So I go meet Zhuge…15700 soldiers for him too. huohu . My goodness. I had to save state like mad until Mislead was successful with Xu Shu….Zhuge took off 1800 on himself when he was 10,000+ soldiers. Then I kept saving so that he never got out of Mislead, cause I didn't want to deal with him using Jin Xian to restore himself and then spend another 20 tries attempting to re-Mislead him.
I love Zhuge's sprite – bartender / shop guy lol huohu
And just when I think I'm in good shape I rest up, save and go into Shu. Then I meet Dong Zhuo with 32300 soldiers!!!!! And he comes with a bunch of Jing Zhou jobbers in Han Xuan, Xingdao Rong, Yang Ling and Jin Xuan. Crazy shit you got on here man lol…Just did Mislead on all those shitheads until it was just Dong Zhuo. Then I spent about 20 turns whittling down that 34,000, with Dong Zhuo's help as he hit himself for 1200 each turn (2400 sometimes with a crit).
I just find this hilarious because I was just musing about how these tough mods can be abused by Mislead…I don't know how else I would have won these battles, the soldier counts in the 15,000 + 35,000 in Jing Zhou…
I gained 3 levels from the Dong Zhuo fight!!!!

edit : Ma Liang has an INT of 240 in this, so there is still no tactician below 240 or above 179 available lol.

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingactually, minus the Lu Bu fight, I myself did the subsequent 3 with Xu Shu as a strat and no save stating so as to make them challenging but not impossibleu. Like I said, you will have to switch your strategists around. You're just a save state abuser :D Guilty as charged!! Evade + Swords + Zeal+ +Torrent + power pills on DZ and he goes down fast without needing to abuse Mislead and save state hack :) This is why I removed 180-239 int officers.
Actually, now that I have played through again, I find the whole game is a lot more fun than it used to be because I'm not just AnShaing everyone. It really dwindles down the fun factor when you just keep SS-reloading until they work on everyone.

However, did you fall for the trap before Save State reloading? Now if he only he got schmarter…
Also, I CANNOT find the Halberd's price tag. Anyone know what line it is on? Save your money, i might be downing gold gains soon…
Hey, I'm a brilliant DoaE mind, not a cheater lol. Besides, I don't have an infinite amount of time and I would have needed HOURS to defeat that 15700 Zhuge Liang in Jing Zhou.
Lu Bu at Gui Yang was easy and required no save stating. Even Dong Zhuo I just need to save state just to ensure I had the TP to survive the battle. It was just his soldier count that made it hard especially using a crappy ~170 tactician.
Zhuge Liang though, I'd love to see you get a video of defeating him fair and square, which consequently is why you said nothing specific about that battle huohu . With Jin Xian he's just too impossible to defeat without manipulating Mislead. Or hope n' pray he doesn't use it while somehow surviving his crazy physical attacks + Zeal on himself. I don't see how it's possible anyway, no Ce Mian means no way to check a crazy tactician like that.
Just recruited Lu Bu again….210 INT!!! Maybe he can be my new tactician.

The point was to either make him unavailable until after Shu or for those hard core gamers and/or SS cheaters, that made it an interesting option to pursue
Due to the battle difficulty as well, Ma Liang makes an excellent replacement after the loss of Xu Shu.
I am also dropping Dong Zhuo's HP by 10,000 anyways to reduce XP gains and make the fight a little less "over the top" :)

The halberd's price tag is at 0x2FCA8 and the current price is "00 00". The max price would be "FF FF" which is 64k.
