ParticipantIf only I could find a proper English patch for DW4 Hyper and can successfully patch it, I could provide pics and a walkthrough for it… I've completely finished the game anyway, and it's easier take screenshots on the computer, as long as I can change the size of photos as I want.

ParticipantI think they change the Cao thing in DW6 to T'sao Pi, which is more accurate. But I've always wondered, is the Chinese pronounciation "Sun" supposed to be "Soon" or "Suhn?"
EDIT: I'll also add that in the DW5 encyclopedia for the Three Kingdoms, YTR, page 6, it says that the Imperial Court sent Huangfu Song, Lu SU, and Zhu Jun. It's supposed to be Lu ZHI instead of Lu SU, an officer of Wu.

ParticipantI frankly thought Guan Du was frustrating on Yuan Shao's side, now that I play everything on Hard mode only. Guan Yu is a killing machine just for the fact that he is himself, nothing else. He doesn't even give a single blow before killing Yan Liang and Wen Chou, and takes only two minutes to take over Wu Chao.
Anyway, back on topic, I think the most biggest mistake in spelling is Diao Chan, where they split her name in two parts, much like Xia Hou Dun from Destiny of an Emperor. It isn't much of a mistake, but it still gets on my nerves.

ParticipantMaybe they followed a Guan Du tradition?

I thought LYS posted something… strange, I can't see it.

ParticipantI hope that it is the real Cao Cao. Good article, Atma. :D

ParticipantI just figured that I won't be using anyone other than Zuo Ci for quite some time, since I love using that over-powered old man.
By the way, I got all the harnesses except for the Shadow Harness, and I was trying to get it. Well, you have to defeat Zhang Ji and Hu Zhen within 45 seconds of their arrival. I was waiting right in front of the checkpoint, and Zhang Ji was just within sight, but he wouldn't just ride into the space where I could hit him… And he kept on moving, making it hard for me to shoot him down.

ParticipantCertain characters? Such as who?

ParticipantI really don't like the fact that you can't pile Musou Tokens in your arsenal.
But since Lu Bu's over, Zuo Ci is now invincible, even in Chaos. I'm currently using him as 2nd player while I help my dad (1st player) get fourth weapons.
For Wu I would like to have Cheng Pu and Ding Feng, they have good long stories (especially Cheng Pu).

ParticipantI just thought Deng Ai would be a better example for a start-to-end Wei officer, but that' just my sense of loving loyal generals. It does derprive them of an interesting storyline, though.
And today I got Zuo Ci's fourth weapon, thus completing that character. Getting that Trump Deck was extremely difficult, killing Lu Bu on Hard mode. Since my dad helped distract Lu Bu and let me use Musou Attacks from behind, he wasn't much of a threat, but twice my life bar reached the yellow from the endless catapult fire.

ParticipantI don't think Liao Hua ever served Cao Cao, he was only held as a prisoner in Wu after Fancheng in real history, and was a prisoner after Liu Chan surrendered to Jin. However, in the latter circumstance, he grew ill and died, most likely due to sorrow. The sorrow part might be a good event to symbolize Liao Hua's loyalty to Shu.
But back on topic, I haven't played Wan Castle yet. I don't think Cao Cao's Musou Mode had it. I'd better try Dian Wei's.
Today I got Zuo Ci as a playable character, almost done maxing him out. He's a monster. A very harmless-looking monster. Although he is nonsense in all aspects, he still is cool.

ParticipantGood point. About the nonsense character matter, I guess KOEI just did that so that people from both genders and those who sympathize with Zhang He (no offense) could all enjoy the game, and thus they could make more money out of that. LOL
And as much as Jia Xu had a very long story of service, I assume that Liao Hua has the longest. In the novel, he was a former Yellow Turban officer who served under Guan Yu at Fancheng/Maicheng and cut through the enemy to get to Liu Feng (that would be fun if playable). Another event is Liao Hua's escape from Wu, with his mother (I think) back to Shu after Guan Yu's death. It could be similar to Guan Yu's escape, only stealthier. Liao Hua also participated in most of the Wu/Wei campaigns, so I guess that already makes over 5 stages, some less-known but good enough to fit into the Xtreme Legends expansion.
Ambushing Cao Cao continuously at Wan with Jia Xu would be really fun. Only Dian Wei would be in extreme hyper mode… :D

ParticipantI realize how brilliant Jia Xu was in strategy, but I'm just saying, would the people like another weak tactician? Zhuge Liang couldn't fight, but Sima Yi was a master in using the spear, so as I said above, somebody had to rival him. But then again, since KOEI did squeeze people like Xiao Qiao in there, I guess Jia Xu could be a good addition.
Still, if the future DW games had to add one or two more characters, I would rather have Pang De (returning) and Deng Ai over Jia Xu in Wei. The former two just seem more powerful and interesting. I guess I just am not very interested in the weak at strength.

ParticipantMerry Christmas, everyone.
Long live Huo Hu.

ParticipantYou have to play Wind Waker one day. It is awesome. I'd say a match of the SNES Zelda, although nothing can beat OoT. Phantom Hourglass was a dissappointment for me, with the touch fighting and the "small world after all" that fits into a DS screen. The graphics and storyline weren't content for me, either, although I won't spoil anymore. I guess Nintendo didn't change much in Spirit Tracks after that.
In my opinion, and I won't state any reasoning, since most of you would realize why, the DS is the worst Nintendo system ever. It messes up all the games.
