ModeratorI haven't seen the billeting issue yet. I started a playthrough of the Yuan Shao mod with the patch applied and am looking for issues. In the process I am increasing the difficulty after comments that my mod is too wuss :P

Moderatorlol, theyre all squishy :P
Anyways, this new multi-hit is making tweaking difficulty a LOT harder b/c rather than 1 hitting a lot of damage, you have to anticipate 2-3 hits without making it totally unbalanced.

Moderatorlet me know if you find out why its recruiting wierd forces. I will start a new game to makes sure it isnt just a playthrough glitch like that 500pt TP gain

This is why as cool as some of the new concepts are, they totally throw what we know about competitive balance in the game out the window. Will require a lot of testing to see how the 8 tactics, 2-3 hits, etc work out in battle for both sides.

ModeratorI found a little bug in the soldier progressions in the patch. It will be fixed in the next upload.
I still haven't seen the billeting issue or the TP issue. EDIT: I finally saw the billeting issue one time. Not sure what happened…
Also seeing weird text sometimes when the enemy uses life or other tactics. Will try and track that down. EDIT: Found it…apparently heal tactics MUST be in slot 02. Strange.

It's pretty easy to get on a roll with updating the enemies just thinking of each gate / castle and upgrading AP / AC.I actually just finished chapter 5 with my difficulty ramp up. Some battles will be harder and will require some leveling but I still try to avoid the automatic 1-hit kills but it *can* happen with an agility based multi-hit or critical hit. Also, "Life" changes strategy and game play quite a bit in a good way. I've had the enemy use it a few times. It's kinda scary when you see it before you know who they are bringing back. It could be rebel force or it could be somebody nasty… But the big strategy question is, do you try to kill the guy with the good heal tactic + life first or do you save him for the end? We'll see how others handle it.

ModeratorBug in the '250 low' leveling category, gives guy 47,000 soldiers when i put it on someone when they are like level 11 (maybe sooner)
Havent checked the guide yet, but restore would be more "balanced" if it revived + 10,000 hp. Full HP gives you no reason to even heal someone.

ModeratorQuote:Bug in the '250 low' leveling category, gives guy 47,000 soldiers when i put it on someone when they are like level 11 (maybe sooner)I already fixed that one but haven't uploaded it yet. The main one to fix now is the "recruit rebel forces" one which could be hard to chase down…

Full HP gives you no reason to even heal someone.I was thinking of toning down Wan Fu/revive power to say, 20,000 or 25,000. This would stop enemies (and you) from fully healing yourself and would drop the power of "Raise" a bit.

ModeratorAnother bug… kind of… I am having trouble selecting no tactics for officers that have INT higher than STR. It still displays tactics in their box yet they don't use them obviously since I have selected in Niahaks editor. Perhaps a side effect of messsing w/ the stat page…
EDIT: nope, figured it out, this is an issue w/ Niahaks editor. Same issue as auto-selecting officer w/ the same name. You know how there are two 'none' options for tactics? well now it always selects the first 'none' and not the second which makes tactics still appear in an officers tactic box, at least, whatever their tactics previously were displayed as… its wierd

Moderatorgetting wierd issues w/ tactics…

ModeratorYes I fixed that one too (weird text with Life). Change salve to slot 02 and it will fix that.
