Some of them are quite ridiculous. Seen this one where someone turned Link into a wolfish looking creature…looked retarded. They should just leave it alone. Hence "Classic".
Yeah they Ryu’s give a handsome amount of gold, but the exp is lacking until you get closer to the core. You can also get Glass helmets, Dragon whips, Dragoon Spears & Crystal rings from constantly fighting these enemies. So you’re kind of killing two birds with one stone…leveling up and obtaining basically two of the best items in the game(Glass Helmet and Crystal Ring). You gotta have patience for those though lol
It goes up a lot quicker if you just keep walking around the lower levels(where the evil masks, red dragons, behemoths, etc. lurk.)
Theres a space on I believe the level you fight Ogopogo for Edge’s last sword…its about a 3 x 3 area. You encounter like 3-4 red dragons at a time and shit.
Yeah I named him incon short for "incontinent" cuz hes an old bastid. But yeah maxing out just makes the final battle so much easier.
Yeah not many people knew about the old trick to use the "rod" as an item in battle and it does an attack.(No homo)
Golbez was always badass though. I really want to try this out. Only thing is I have to get a DS. Its basically the only thing I’m lacking in the Nintendo department.
Just reading your synopsis makes me want to play the game even more. I heard they really improved the characters in general too. For instance Edward isn’t the most useless character in FF history anymore?…
I believe he’s referring to Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. A lot of people didn’t like that one, but I thought it was pretty hot. Different style. Different and original is always good in my book. Part 2 was hard as fuck though compared to its predecessor…especially on the final palace. Its got fuckin’ 1-ups inside of it.
Actually I might like the first one more, but yeah I like A Link to the Past a lot. OoT was good, but not classical enough to me.
This is actually the only one of the series I don’t own I believe. The one on GBA was ok, but the original on SNES is one of the best RPGs released during that era in my opinion. I always thought the Lufia games didn’t really receive enough prominence. They were definitely slept on or Square releases would always overshadow them.
They’re going a bit too far with this cellphone shit. :mad: I think it’d be kind of awkward to play an FF on one. At least they chose one of the best to emulate though.
