ParticipantTo be honest I only own 1 & 2. A friend of mine used to play part 3 a lot, but I hadn’t known there was even 4 or 5 and expecting 6. Guess I’m out of loop on some things. Are the others similar? improvements? or generally the same with just different or more characters and storyline?

Generally speaking, I think there has been a gradual trend toward easier games. I think companies figured out that it means they sell quite a bit more. Think back to the NES days, and how absurdly difficult some of those games were. I doubt today’s gamers would tolerate them.
I concur. They either can’t tolerate them or just aren’t coherent with the style. Shit was a whole different world back then.

ParticipantThe first one is a classic, but I enjoyed part 2 more. Never really was much of a Sega fan, but the Shining Force series was one of the few that drew me to its light at times. Only gripe is some of the characters names were lame or just didn’t really suit them. :smoke:

ParticipantDid they ever make any sequels to it?…
I never even beat this one to begin with.

ParticipantWhen you’re fighting bosses like Batista…that battle music is the best.

ParticipantSuikoden=One of the best games I’ve ever played. Talk about originality at its finest. So indepth too.

ParticipantI’ve played Tales of Destiny for PS. I don’t recall it being called "2" though…unless it has something to do with Albert Odyssey and is a sequel?…
Nevertheless I played it many moons ago and don’t really remember much. I remember it being a good game though.

ParticipantYou find the best shit online anyway. Theres really nowhere else to find any game possible that you want. Someone/someplace out there in this netland harbors obscure or classic games in general. If it weren’t for places like amazon.com I wouldnt have this "nifty" SNES/NES in one system.

ParticipantYeah the one on advance(Dawn of Souls) was pretty impressive. Especially with the extra dungeons they had after you beat the fiends. Was a lot of fun. Definitely increased the level of gameplay.

ParticipantYeah I basically would have to agree with all of the above said…
I played it on one of my friends PSP. Unfortunately since it wasn’t mine I wasn’t able to play for too long, but I got to about the same area. I’d like to pick it up again though.

ParticipantWoah…wtf game is this?…Looks very appealing. Almost like a hybrid of Final Fantasy and Breath of Fire…
Where can I get this game?…I hope I can get it on an emulator in english preferably.
