Playing this over on GBA was hot. Did you get to the coliseum yet?…Wait til you see who you can get there. :-D
I personally think it was relatively easy on the advance version. Easier than the original at least. I felt I didn’t really have to level as much. Certain enemies can fuck you up still i.e. those giant mantis that do crazy amounts of damage to you. Brought back a lot of old feelings and memories playing through it again though. I agree on the blitz technique names. They should’ve stuck with the originals. Bum Rush sounds a lot cooler. Phantom Rush just sounds too obvious. I also think Fire Dance is cooler than Rising Phoenix. Sabin was prolly my top fav(can’t you tell :) )
I used to just go through it with Yang and Tellah. Just take their rings off and you’re fine. Sucks not having Cecil’s attack, but you can make it.

This could have something to do with not buying Cid all of his Mithril gear. He usually takes hits like a man in the floating tower, but this time around he was getting smacked up with the best of ’em.
They seem to have changed a lot with the game. I believe Cid’s best gear during the trip to Toroia was Silver wasn’t it?…You go to that town where the villagers are either tiny, frog or pig and they sell nothing but silver gear. One of the best parts in the game. Its when you first get the airship :-D
You guys are amping me up to play it even more. Those 3 cunts are annoying. I bet they’re gonna be a pain.
Just by what I’ve seen. Its not going to deter me from playing at all. IV is my favorite one out of the series. Its just odd to me. Reminds me of DK mode in Goldeneye.
(I know its off topic)But the big heads in the new FFIV almost ruined my first thoughts of it. Its cool they went a different direction with the overall essence of the game, but that shit isn’t appealing to me. They look stupid IMO.
