I like the idea of not having a storyline in China using the given materials of DoaE. We could recreate epic battles of all different kinds, whole new games even, not just mods lol.

Well they don't even need to do it in-game, a script translation or FAQ from someone who knows what it says would be sufficient enough for me. I can wing it through most games in Japanese but it's nice to not have to spend 2 hours backtracking and talking to every single person trying to advance the story one more step.

I've never heard of this Vay game before, but looking at those pictures you posted has me interested. Any knowledge of where I may pick up a ROM to check it out and/or any other classics you'd recommend?
I'm hoping for FFVI over FFV. It didn't seem like FF5 didn't really pick up the fanbase that FFVI did, probably because it wasn't originally released here in the US which I think will play another factor in possibly doing FFVI first.
I enjoyed Lunar a lot on Sega CD but since my system hardly ever worked right I was ecstatic that they re-released it and the sequel Eternal Blue on PSX. I picked up the collector's sets as soon as they hit the shelves. I've also got Night Trap (which I never saw what all the controversial "adult" parts really were) and Sewer Shark which was fun for a while but I've never been able to finish it. Another good place to find ROMS is Rom Paradise, I've used it for years and it just keeps growing.
I actually enjoyed the Three Kingdoms anime (you can find it on Youtube) and I had also watched about 30 episodes of the live action recreation that is in Chinese (you can find it subbed on Youtube as well).I actually liked Three Kingdoms a little better than Red Cliff. Red Cliff dived a bit more into that one particular battle whereas Three Kingdoms introduced you to many players and spanned a greater aspect of the wars.
Wow, I didn't even realize spiderweb was still making games. I had the whole Exile collection back in the 90s, it was pretty good but got irritating without the addition of the "cheat mode". It will still actually play on my XP systems but haven't tried on my netbook which is running Win 7. I'm mainly playing the new FFIV with occasional breaks to brush some dust off of my PS3 for some DW7.
