It’s like, other forums just have punks that will post and it’ll just irk me so much, or people whose posts just lack any sort of value that I skip over what they say, but there’s a complete lack of that here. I mean, really, even the people who are struggling to post in English provide some fairly decent content, even if they deliver it in a way that amuses me.
Well, I think everyone tries their best here to have something decent to say. Even the one-shots are usually information of some kind. And it’s pretty nice that we even get people who post here even if they’re not completely fluent in English.
Hell, one of the pivotal positive points about this forum is the only time I can remember lordyuanshu being somewhat angry at me for saying "nigger" a bit. I mean, I think I stopped posting it because he asked me nicely to stop or something, but still. I’m too used to places that are either in the "Holier than thou" or "Hey guys, the rules don’t apply to the elite members of our forums!" mentalities. LYS probably just tokes up and is it’s "It’s cool, man" I’m a punk, and I know it, so it’s just kinda surprising to actually have an admin that works like that.
There’s not really anyone around for him to lord it over, and really no point in bothering anyway. And the rules here have always been pretty lax. Sure, there’s some lines you probably shouldn’t cross, but there’s not a sense of "These are the rules, follow them exactly or get banned" because it’s not like the forum’s going to fall into chaos without them. In fact, I don’t recall ever deleting a post here that wasn’t a bot’s.
Also, what little active userbase there is has good taste in games. Can’t beat a forum that was originally dedicated to Destiny of an Emperor

If you feel like holding out for a translation, Aeon Genesis has this in their project lineup.
I have both of them too. The original one is a little easier because you can capture officers on the first try as long as you have a high enough combo chain, but then you can’t chain one person’s combos and only the person who defeats the enemy gets a tactic back. There are also a lot more storyline branches.
Don’t know about a lake, but there is a screen on Cerobi Steppe that has a bunch of windmills with on/off switches as part of a puzzle or something. According to a Gamefaqs guide, once you find the Yellow Bottle from the fishing minigame, then you go to this area and turn #1, 2, 5, 7, and 9 ON and the other ones OFF to solve the puzzle.
