Why does Liu Bei get Ma Chao from the start? Well, he and Ma Teng are a package deal, sorta’ like Song Ren and Song Yong are. :P
Also, obviously…some boss changes. While the Yellow Turban area will remain the same, since they are freely serving the evil Empress Himiko…most things get changed. The warlords replacing the original bosses are from the Sengoku Period of Japan.

Jin Xuan —> Suzuki Sadayu
Han Xuan —> Akechi Mitsuhide

Assorted clan members will be available to fight as well, based on their association with the daiymos in question.
Names will be shortened to comply with the game’s size limits.

otherwise, i’ve never been able to get him using the zheng letter trick…
I explained this earlier in the thread. You take a savestate from the Wu mod, and you change the file name so that you can use it in regular DoaE 2.

They see me throwin' fireballs out of my sword, they runnin'.I prefer DoaE2 myself, but with the editor out for DoaE1, you can make all the generals level up if you do a little work. I might just release a ROM that lets EVERYONE level up. Depends on my laziness factor :P

With the DoaE2 64 Items Vault Trick, that is meant to get you through the game fast…since you’ll have insane soldier counts. That can be rectified by putting Sima Yi or whoever you get in billeting, then taking them back out. Boom, soldier counts are normal again :)
