ModeratorJust a 2 cent, the formula for determining POL seems just to be out of whack… I think it should be more of a % derived from officer intelligence because guys like Ma Chao are getting 175 default politics with the current formula and I'd probably only give him like 60.
Also, does the 1.3 patch reduce all displayed armor values? With the stock DOAE values it would overflow back to 0 and begin from 0 again so I think the highest armor could only have a max of 135 displayed AC (if 120 is the max value of officer Defense from stats)
Also, my guys can't equip armor unless it is in the officer profile… perhaps that might be a little overboard having to buy specific armor for every guy as it already has more micro-management with specific weapons ? Just a thought.
Anyways, the current version seems to be working, will test more.

ModeratorWell considering the age of both the Wii and PS3, people aren't going to want to be buying more games for them with the new systems coming out, especially since they have announced that PS4 will NOT be backwards compatible with the PS3 games, so in other words they are trying to pull an 'Apple Computers' by making their games system exclusive.

ModeratorFrom what I've heard people say, not really. He presents a good front, but winds up just being rather "meat-headish" in the end, which is probably why his officers turned on him just like Zhang Fei.

ModeratorTis' me job, findin' dem bugs! :lol:

ModeratorI have often heard that argument that Zhang Fei actually used strategy (think Yan Yan) and that Guan Yu should actually be lowered in his INT because with him it was mostly just charging in and chopping people up… or down, and look at how we was overcome by Lu Meng.
Cao Bao in my book ranked far above ROTK's portrayal of officers like the Yellow Turban officers who with their single digit stats made them on par with vegetables…

ModeratorWell, it also came up w/ an error when I tried editing an officer stat. Essentially, any time I tried to 'save' a change to an officer, I got a run time error similar to this one.

ModeratorNiahak, do you think you can figure out why the 'save' option causes the above error?

ModeratorTartar sauce would be that cat's name :P
sonic.penguin
ModeratorNo, just the person whose inventory it is in.
Quote:I like the colour choice for the final solider bar…thing? I don't know the actual name. lolThanks, and I think it changes to that at like level 48 or so. I figure people will be at max level for a while so no sense getting the last bars too early.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

ModeratorYeah, I know what you're talking about now and is avoidable by putting a slow person at the bottom of the formation so they don't go first. The bug actually exists in everyone;s mods currently…
MiDKnighT, can you download the latest Rise of Lu Bu Mod from the front page, apply patch 1.3, then try and open it with DOAEditor and let me know if you can open it?
sonic.penguin
ModeratorIt's a black screen?
