ParticipantWell, the only thing I’ve been able to do yet are battles with Liu Bei, because I think I got lost, I might restart my game… At least I found a inn.
EDIT: Yay! I’m a SKOB! I’ll be able to finish DOAE3!

ParticipantRight, this is funny!
I just killed Cao Cao with the Xi Liang Cavalry!
Instead of ending the game, it made Xiahou Dun the succesor!
EDIT:

I always see that face at green’s turn, so I really think it’s real!

ParticipantOne other time, I had nobody to protect 4 of my towns, but they never disband… If only I understood what the characters were saying in the meantime…

ParticipantI’ve played a little recently with Cao Cao on the last scenario, is it normal that after some times, one of your cities will become masterless, and that when you attack them, they are 7 officers blocking the way? (I think that it was Luo Yang or something like that).
Here’s what happened:
-I asked "Sima Yi" what should we do.
-He answers: Let’s move to "An Ding".
-After I moved, the other city I was in… became out of my control! Masterless!
It’s really weird, because it isn’t an independance, it isn’t a betrayal, simply becoming masterless…

ParticipantHave you noticed if it is possible to do all out? I haven’t been able to do one yet… (Maybe that’s because I had only Liu Bei…)

Participant5 digits? It didn’t give you the same bug I got. When I got a level up (Let’s say, 42):
Liu Bei’s forces level up!
Liu Bei’s soldiers is now 1005640
Guan Yu’s soldiers is now 1225673
Zhang Fei’s soldiers is now 1225673
Liu Bei learns (I don’t remember)
Guan Yu learns (I don’t remember)
Max TP increased to 255.
When I go in battle after that, it says that Liu Bei’s HP is 5640, but when this gets depleted (I fought Cao Cao at Xu Zhou) it goes to 999999! That’s a crasy code. I still know a way to disable it. After you removed the game genie code, go to an inn, your soldiers count SHOULD be normal, but I can’t confirm right now.

ParticipantIf somebody could make them for me, I’d be grateful. But remember this game isn’t in the Three Kingdoms era, it’s 4000 years later.
You know how the portraits in RPGM2000 works? I don’t have much time for using photoshop right now, so if somebody has the time and courage to gather portraits from doae1 and 2, rotk 1 to… let’s say 10, I’d be grateful. Don’t have to get all portraits (it would take millenium, except for a photoshop maniac) but the important ones, I’d be grateful. If somebody wants to do it, he’ll have his name in the credits (once I get there) and I’ll also send him a draft of what kind of portrait image he needs to do this. (NOTE: If you have RPGM2000, you don’t need the draft).

ParticipantROTK5? I found the PC version on Kongming.net. It’s in chinese, so I don’t understand, except for common events, like locust and things like this.
BTW, I finally found out how to open ROTK5! Open the file SAN5.exe. I don’t know if it works on XP, as I haven’t tried. What’s weird, is that ROTK4 is in windows, and ROTK5 in DOS, so you might just use DOSBOX or another DOS emulator for it to work properly in XP.

ParticipantWhat? You do not get unification percentage? Here’s what happened for me. You know that missions for your country are at each 5 missions, do you? Well, at mission 5, I did a campaign against bandits, and was congratulated by the emperor. At mission 10, I took Luo Yang, and began to vie for power (Started at 20% of unification). At mission 12 (yes, special event) Lu Bu rebelled, so I had to kick him out of Luo Yang. At mission 15, I took Cheng Du (now 40% of unification). At mission 20, I took Cheng Du?!?(WTF?!? Well, I was at 60% after that, so I didn’t care much). At mission 25, Luo Yang was under attack by Sima Yi(Didn’t gain any Unification %). At mission 30, I attacked Cheng Du again?!? (Well, anyway I was now at 80% after that, so like I cared if it was Cheng Du or not). And finally, at mission 35, I took Jiang Xia from Cao Pi (Finally! It’s not Cheng Du!) and unified China. After that, I could’ve continued doing missions until mission 999999999, but I was tired, so I stopped there.
As for the size of your city, find a shop where they need you to escort craftsman, and if you do it successfully, you’ll get a facility, and +1 in the size of your city. (Limit is 5, where itt’l say: MAX) After one craftsman, you’ll get a market (Get more money after missions). After two, you’ll get a "mine", I don’t remember what in fact, but It’l give you more iron after battles. After three, it’s a stable (It says you’ll get a jeweled harness periodically, but I never got mine back…). Finally, after four craftsman, you’ll get an Hospital, which will heal a little bit of HP after battles, except if one of your officers get a doctor, in which case you’ll get a meat bun? Once you get the hospital, it should be marked as MAX in the size of your city.

ParticipantI haven’t had time to re-edit the game, because I’m going trough Suikoden 1, which I finally got an imager to image the disk. After I finish the first, I’ll probably go and re-edit it. I think I was about to do a field battle in nan zhong.
About the blacksmith: He’s in Ba… And please, you do not need more than 2 Sharpened sword, in chapter 2 you’ll get much better swords…
About the "endless" desert: The solution is simple: Read the mountain. Go up. That’s already a VERY big hint.
