while typing this out you apparently updated, grabbing update and going to retest.
Will fix this and re-upload, I figured this might happen and its due to a portrait bug

FIXED! Updated TWO instances where it would locked up due to portraits. I went around the map and tested every battle as well just to be sure, so there shouldnt be anymore…
Also fixed a slight map abnormality. Keep it current, keep it safe!

Moderatorlol, some characters you may have already acquired due to recent changes if you fire them you wont be able to get them back. If you add him to your party and go into a battle, things might change, I think I ditched a yuan shu character in place of him.
I just added another update it fixes a freeze glitch that happens with white riders. New portraits have been giving me issues due to the hex, but working on fixing that in due time. Good luck in finding the special battle hehe
I made some significant changes to tactics, so beware! Still in testing hehe

ModeratorIt appears that these stat window adjustments have got you all riled up :) I personally find it to start getting cluttered up with another indentifier unless you plan on having TP as just a numerical value. Not sure if I like Agility in the middle or not, but the process to move stuff around is a neat concept thus far. Trying to implement some of this stuff into the mod already.

*Now Liu Feng has higher stats and soldier growth! If you feel he would better serve with his original 399 hp, i can change it back.
*You can keep Liu Bei by not talking to Tao Qian* or you can get Liu Feng and gain access to Si Shui gate and the subsequent generals/inn. This split path rejoins at Chang An where progression once again merges and you HAVE to dump Liu Bei.
*Some tactics have gained new multi-targeting.
And no, that Si Shui thing isnt a result of your code MidKnight, that is due to a battle change I made that disallows access BEHIND Si Shui gate, but it turned out good after all as this new update is offering a new flavor to the game.

I think in one of these thread we have a few banks of pre-extracted portraits from DOAE2 and some other ones.

ModeratorThat would be neat to have an agility bonus attack, but almost unbalancing if you slapped an uber AP weapon on them. It would probably be more 'controlable' if you could change weapons to dual strike/multi hit like a bow or tactics and thus more directly control the power of attacks. just my 2 cents

Okay, so a few things got fixed in this release, namely that Si Shui gate bug. Now Si Shui is completely passable without fighting Hua Xiong, however, you will miss out on: recruiting Hua Xiong, an ax, a rest point, the ability to recruit future officers like Liu Pi/Chen Dao/Diao Chan etc, so weigh your options.
You will still get booted back to the front, but thats okay now.
On the other hand…
*Keep Liu Bei LONGER in this new update. Even as far as Chang An!
*New portraits! Yellow Scarves, Wu and Wei Elite and more!
******You will need FCE Ultra Emulator for them to display properly.
*No more TP, now you can view officer AGI (agility) instead! ) thanks Ludmeister
*Minor balance adjustments to some officers
*Secret battles after ENDGAME battles have new officers. This starts in Jin/Luo Yang. Good luck with this challenge!
*If you notice any wierd portraits beyong their ordinary wierdness or if the game randomly locks up upon viewing an officer profile, let me know. Thanks

ModeratorThen they should be fine, they look like they're in the proper format. Not sure what its doing now ehehe. Im having my own issue with portraits mainly that Im getting a specific stat page ie: Lu Su, to lock up if I open it in game once the portrait code is enabled. It appears we are having the same issues LYS now that I read your other post hehe. Interesting bug we've found.
I have found if you input 1 wrong value it can freeze battles or even change EVERYONEs portrait off by 1 slice, but this is not the issue. All correct and new portraits work, but specific officers seem to glitch-freeze the game.
EDIT: fixed! had to 0 out officers in Niahaks editor, thanks for the help guys :)
