ModeratorMaybe you should make a play about him and call it Springtime For Dong Zhuo…?
DragonAtma
ModeratorIf you’re just planning to give the map a facelift, the current map editor is acceptable.
But if you want to redo the map from scratch (and I desire to do so; Jin Xuan map’s about 75% designed in RMVX), then the current map editor is nowhere near sufficient.
DragonAtma
ModeratorActually, Emperor Shao was still alive when he was replaced with Xian; Dong Zhuo was impressed by Xian’s superior intelligence.
Unfortunately, he didn’t survive much longer; Dong Zhuo was, after all, Dong Zhuo.
On a side note, speaking of map editing, any chance we can have DoaEd’s map editor redone? Dragging 2×2 tiles on works fine for small edits, but if you want to do a major map edit, the map editor really should be overhauled (hopefully to something like RPG Maker’s map editor).

Moderator…why not just grab the sprites from the game itself? After all, some people will be editing the sprites…
DragonAtma
ModeratorOf course not; despite what DyW says, the three kingdoms period never used war fans!

ModeratorCao Song was one of the highest ranked people in the han dynasty, actually; he was Minister of Finance 大司農, then Minister Herald 大鴻臚 (both Nine Ministers ranks), and in 187 was promoted to Grand Commandant 太尉 — although the third was likely either from Emperor Ling selling offices or from bribing top eunuchs. In any case, he was too busy to assist Cao Cao, and when he retired, Zhang Kai assassinated Cao Song while he was heading back home.

ModeratorNo bars!? What would the counts and dukes say!?
DragonAtma
ModeratorRegrettably I’ll have to pass on making nominations, for two reasons:
(1) I have yet to finish Destiny of Jin Xuan; I have multiple projects, but hey, the DoJX world is about 75% designed (and then I can just copy it over to the game itself).
(2) To avoid being influenced, I don’t play other mods. I wouldn’t want to accidentally borrow things from other mods. :(But hey, there’ll be even more progress in 2014. Especially if someone’s willing to help out with modding RoTK2, thereby opening up more time for Atma to do DoJX work!

ModeratorWell, it’s not like anyone could take mangled names like “bartz” and “reina” seriously…
DragonAtma
ModeratorHooray!
DragonAtma
ModeratorTell them that the site does a wonderful job and deserves a promotion! :Þ

ModeratorLook, LYS, here’s what you should do:
Take down the pre-pre-pre-alpha and put up Namestatfix. it’s a rotk2 mod (SNES version, of course) that fixes everyone’s stats, fixes everyone’s names, and makes every single force playable.
It’s also a complete mod, not a pre-pre-pre-alpha.
DragonAtma
ModeratorYes… but only once we reach the year I finish it, 2042.
Seriously, though, you’ve played it; you of all people know (or SHOULD know) that there’s no reason to keep my pre-pre-pre-alpha on the mod page.
DragonAtma
ModeratorIf you do so, make sure you rearrange the Jin Xuan pre-pre-pre-alpha into the “not seen by people other than LYS-the-person” section.
DragonAtma
Moderator…if some mods are somehow even less developed than that old pre-pre-pre-alpha, it may be best to take them down too…
