So the mod works to the end of the gold key cave. I do, however, need to edit umm.. err.. John Quincy Adams… so he’s not too strong.

It’d also probably go ape if you tried to enter a DoaE2 rom (trust me, I’ve seen people do MUCH crazier things…).
Unfortunately, being under 35 automatically disqualifies you, even if you ahve the imperial seal. Sorry, milord.
Does this mean you’re 35 years old (or older), are a natural-born US citizen, and have lived here for the past 14 years or more?
And does it mean that no LYS members live in states that aren’t up for grabs?
D&D: Eternal Sun is one of the three Genesis games I had when the system died. And yeah, bows (and even slings) are vastly overpowered in dungeons. Especially when you have a nice, long corridor with no places for your vic– targets to hide in.

Although dorafans’s fictional scenarios includes one after scenario 4 (where Erin, Ander, and Eadric are roughly even, with Elford Lankshire holding only one province), and mine has one after that (where Erin has half the map, Ander and Eadric reluctantly allied, and Pender formed his own force!).

..my instincts say that, in the end, Blanche is simply too strong (whether you count Dorafans’ scenarios as canon or not). You know, you could add an even later custom scenario, "The Desperate Alliance"
Elford will go first (not surprisingly), at which point Erin and Ander will ally against Eadric. Judging by everything that happened so far, Erin will most likely be more effective. With no real alternative to advancing, my Dragon senses are tingling, telling me that Ander and Eadric will do a lot of fighting over the crown. Enough, in fact, that Erin (1) can take the rest of the east coast easily (due to Eadric throwing his troops at the crown) and (2) will face little resistance when he finally assaults Lankshire’s 22.
As bitter as they find the idea, Ander and Eadric are left with no choice but to ally with each other. Not only does Erin have the most provinces, but (due to the crown-related bloodshed) the largest army as well. Otherwise, when Eadric finally IS defeated Ander will be too weak to survive.
Naturally the few troops Ander has in 1, 2, and 7 are overwhelmed by a vengeful Erin, and [person of dorafans’ choice] of the isolated 8 is forced to surrender as well. At the same time, 22 and 30 fall to the desperate alliance. Pender, meanwhile, is feeling guilt. He served his brother, then Eselred, and finally Eadric… but what has he gotten of it? Not sure who to turn too, Pender — and the army that took province 30 — declared neutrality under the crest of Aslea until he can decide whether to return to Blanche or not.

So it's March year 3, and South Lyle (provinces 15 and 14) are remarkably undertrooped. Alone, isolated, and unassisted doesn't prevent Pender from falling, but Eselred's attack did lower him to a mere 16 troops. We're not talking about Eastern Lyle, though, as it'll get swallowed up easily enough. It only exists to help occupy Ander's wizards.
Province 23 (Loryn's castle, as of now) had 500 rice (!), so I sold some and nearly doubled the soldier count. I then took province 14 as Elias of 18 did a probing attack (with a mere 1 soldier and the skeletons hanging around, hehe) to either take the province (if both wizards are busy) or waste the remaining wizard's turn.
Okay, Scylla (or Chylla? I always confuse the two) was there, but her use just got wasted. Elias was captured and ransomed for 29 gold, but that left province 15 defended by a mere 80 soldiers — fresh food for my spearmen! Naturally, I crushed him, finishing step two of THE BATTLEPLAN!
Oh, and since Ander refused to join me, he was ejected from Ishmeria. With a giant catapult (heheheh). Keyla is in charge now.

But Wei Xu, Y Jin, and Xu Zhu all have 84 or less Int. What happens if you Li Jian all three of them, then attack Cheng Yu and Sima Yi? With a little luck, not only will they be helping smack Sim Yi, but Sima Yi will actually Wan Fu one of them (thanks to their own self-hits) when his HP is low.
…now that I think about if, everyoine except Sima Yi has 148 or less in either Str or Int. Considering my planned lineup, you may have a problem when facing Jin Xuan’s final battle…
