ultramanysParticipant
I seriously do not think that Zhang Fei was a drunk. The novel made him a drunk head, but he is indeed not a drunk historically.
I would rank Zhang Fei as the top Shu general because he was the only one who was really rough yet had a soft spot for gardening and drawing apparently. Zhang Fei is a true strategist in my mind. He has rarely came up with a strategy during battle that failed.
Also I would like to point out that he’s one of the very few men that managed to defeat Zhang He, a feat accomplished by none other than Cao Cao and Wang Ping.
ultramanysParticipantHas anyone seen the latest strip where Sun Quan takes out a saw and cuts the table in half?
I found that one to be amusing.
ultramanysParticipantBut since we’re in a forum made for Yuan Shu…
ALL HAIL ULTRAMAN YUAN SHU!!!!!
That was hilarious. It was so original and unexpected. It became my favorite the moment I read that strip.
ultramanysParticipantSaving Guan Yu is way harder than saving Pang Tong, that’s something I can say for sure.
ultramanysParticipantYou finish a battle, but the earlier you finish the battle, the better chance of getting a good rare card.
ultramanysParticipantNo, because the game’s not that well-known. LoCC’s the most famous out of them all because you can do alot of edits in the game.
ultramanysParticipantThe generic gloves usually upgrade along with the generic weapons.
ultramanysParticipantYep. My friend has a Zhou Yu whoses stats are 8 power and 10 int and his special skill is the fire attack. Damn him, he got mad lucky.
If you ever have cards whoses artist is Mitsuteru Yokoyama or some other artist, it’s usually a golden card, which signifies that it’s a good rare card.
ultramanysParticipantI got the DS version (in my M3, ahem. Too poor to afford the game anyway.)
So far, my best cards are Guan Yu (9 power, 8 int), Zhuge Liang (3 power, 10 int), and Zhao Yun(8 power, 8 int). But my favorite has to be Zhuge Liang because he can ambush and that is THE BEST SKILL in the game. I’ve defeated several opponents by just ambushing.
ultramanysParticipantYea, I’ve seen Lu Bu coming out to save Huang Quan when his HP bar’s almost depleted. I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!
ultramanysParticipantI got the game in Japanese, but no matter since I modded my PS2. The game is awesome and so far, I’ve held well against He Jin and Dong Zhuo.
And in other news, I pwned Gan Ning with Wu Lan. Sheer awesomeness.
ultramanysParticipantOh, about the generic items.
Damn, the list is too damn long.
The guide you uploaded there is indeed a low level & a few special items guide.
Hard, not very since it’s a low level guide and usually the enemy’s levels are averaged out of your army’s levels.
ultramanysParticipantwho got dibs on ultraman? if not, then i got dibs on it.
ultramanysParticipantOkay, there are 50 speical items total in the game.
All hero units have an unique ability to raise all stats evcept for movement by itself temporarily.
In the game, there is a way to gain exp without attack at the cost of 24 MP/48MP.
By using any tactics that requires your unit to give up tactics to others/ the unit itself, use it and target it to the unit itself and you’ll get at least 10 exp per use. I find that tactic really useful for units that are low in level and I use this on Cao Cao all the time and it works fine.
Dian Wei’s twin halbreds are not in this game. You’d get a dual poles instead under the requirement that you finished the first battle of Chi Bi by eliminating everyone, which skips Cao Cao’s Retreat.
Gao Lan is not recruitable in the game.
ultramanysParticipantYea, they do. I got the game and played it entirely on Jap voiceovers.
Ryotaro Okiayu and Hikari Midorikawa make great rivals out of Nobunaga and Mitsuhide respectively, except that this time, Nobunaga’s the good guy and Mitsuhide’s the bad guy.
