ModeratorI feel bad that I still haven't reduced a new version due to life interfering. Guan Yu is… less than pleased.

ModeratorI did, but I didn't want to spoil it for those who haven't. Therefore, this part will be backwards (read form the right to left and bottom to top)…

And when it finishes, everyone shouts my new title, "Ah, ULTIMATE

ModeratorThere's a translated rom of it, does that count? Last i checkied I was up to the final dungeon (but haven't beaten it yet)…
IIRC it's quite similar to DW8, although there's one part where [this section censored by Song Yong].

ModeratorYou should edit the faces for the uniques; they were designed to be used exclusively with whtie background, which is why poor Yan Yan is suffering from pinkeye.
Fortunately, replacing the white (now pink/grey/green/etc.) with skintone should work. keep in mind, though,. that you can simply stick with white, which I'm doing for all my uniques!
And yeah, balancing Liu Zhang (your mod) and Kong Rong (Jin Xuan mod) is a bit tricky. Yes, the 160/200 I gave to Kong Rong is likely better than he desarves, but seeing as he stays in the party until the end of Shu…
You may need to buff Liu Zhang a bit more, as (presumably) he's intended to be there until the final fight.

ModeratorOn a late note, there are four entries with the name "Lu Bu". They share a pictures and have similar stats, but aqside from that they have no more in common than Zhang Jiao's brotherand Zhang Fei's son.
DragonAtma
Moderatorkongming.net actually has encyclopedia entries on the three; all three have biographies and are listed as fictional (although, top be fair, they're highly accurate about their game data).
DragonAtma
ModeratorYep, it's in that 7-page gamefaqs thread with the title "Meteorstrike".
And since Guan Xing has 98 speed, so he'd still be fairly slow (147 speed). In fact, I think NOBODY who gains officers is in the (101~249) agility range… >_<
DragonAtma
ModeratorIf you do, can you include the entries for soldier counts and such that aren't used? Atma has a devious plan…
DragonAtma
ModeratorOn a late note, Chi Tu Ma raises the holder's agility by 50%. Song Yong's abysmal 30 agi is still only 45 when he holds it, while Jiang Wei's 250 agility hits the cap of 255. Ma Su, however, has 170 agility, and just barely reaches the max of 255 with the horse.
Too bad everyone you have at the end will likely be either super fast (thus limiting its suefulness) or quite slow (thus often going late even with the horse)…

ModeratorZhou Chao was indeed real and a member of Ou Xing's five-minute rebellion.
And no, Humu ban is not Hu ban (who, according to kongming.net, was fictional!).
DragonAtma
ModeratorOn a late note, wikipedia and the kongming.net encyclopedia claim that there actually was a Wang Gui; he (as well as Han Rong, Yin Xiu, Humu Ban, and Wu Xiu) were all sent to negotiate an armistice with Yuan Shao (and, presumably, the other remnants of the coalition) after the razing of Luoyang. Yuan Shao, however, not only refused but had all of them except Han Rong captured and killed.

ModeratorThe thread is here. Considering the post dates back a year, yet the pics still show up, I don't think that's it…
DragonAtma
ModeratorThat's what I did. For the record, they were ten pics from the "images of every DoaE3 officer" thread.
DragonAtma
ModeratorExcept this computer doesn't have IE on it, so maybe I should stop using firefox instead! XD
Anyway, I tried linking to some of the obvious ones (such as Guan Yu and Lu Bu), but as you can see, it wouldn't accept them.

ModeratorLong, long ago, I got started with sloooowly translating the officer names in the snes version. Now, I don't speak japanese, but take a look at these officers:
Wei:

Wu:

Shu:

Those of us who played other DoaE games should have no problem identifying them. Even thsoe who haven't should be able to figure out at least some of them!
